How the newsroom works
Our work is organised around nine beats: Watch, World, Politics, Money, Tech, Lifestyle, Culture, Sports and Opinion. Reporting and editing follow the same standards across all of them — claims are sourced, opinion is clearly labelled and kept separate from news, and mistakes are corrected in public.
Editing and verification
