DMCA Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Daily Watch Reports respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from anyone who uses or contributes to our site. This policy describes our procedures for handling copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that material on dailywatchreports.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. We take all valid notices seriously and will act promptly to remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material in appropriate cases.
Please be aware that submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice exposes you to legal liability, including damages and legal fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Required Elements of a Copyright Infringement Notice
To be valid under the DMCA, your written notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list is acceptable.
- Identification of the infringing material: A description of the material you claim is infringing and that you want removed or disabled, with enough detail for us to locate it on the site. A specific URL is strongly preferred.
- Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement of good faith belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
- A statement of accuracy: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- A physical or electronic signature: Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name qualifies as an electronic signature).
Notices that do not include all required elements may not be acted upon.
Where to Send Your Notice
Send DMCA notices to our Designated Copyright Agent by email:

We recommend sending notices by email for the fastest response. We will acknowledge receipt and inform you of the action taken.
Counter-Notice Procedure
If material you posted or submitted to Daily Watch Reports has been removed or disabled in response to a DMCA notice, and you believe the removal was in error — for example, because you have authorisation to use the material or it qualifies as fair use — you may submit a counter-notice.
A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Daily Watch Reports may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Send counter-notices to the same address listed above, with “DMCA Counter-Notice” in the subject line.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and inform them that we may restore the removed material within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action seeking an order to restrain you from the infringing activity.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Daily Watch Reports will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts or access of users or contributors who are found to be repeat infringers.
