Taboon Season

If you loved the first season of Taboo, then you will be thrilled to know that there is going to be a second season. The show’s creator and writer Steven Knight have confirmed this exciting news recently in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. We don’t have too much information yet about what we can expect from the new series but here are some of our initial thoughts!

Season 1:

The first season took place in 1814 London during the height of the British Empire. It’s reasonable to believe that Season Two will happen sometime closer to the end of this century, considering Britain still has an empire then. We’re also guessing it might take place somewhere else because, for all we know, Africa could be next on Churchill’s list!

About the show:

In terms of cast and plot, Taboo is a show about bad men doing terrible things so we can’t expect anything different from Season Two either. Hopefully, there are some new faces who have been changed by their time abroad like James Delaney was at least somewhat changed after his time in West Africa with trade goods! One thing is for sure–James won’t come out unscathed.

Taboo Season Two is coming to FX!

Cast and Plot of the show to come in the next update! Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing series from Tom Hardy’s production company, Mad Dog Productions!

Taboo Season Two: What Can We Expect?

A lot has happened since the first season finale back in January 2017 (not all of it good).

James won’t come out unscathed after two seasons of dealing with all the madness abroad. The cast and plot of Taboo season one are already unpredictable so there’s no telling where they will go next! Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing series from Tom Hardy’s production company, Mad Dog Productions!”

Description: In January 2016 FX announced that they were developing a new TV series based on the Mad Dog Productions BBC series “Taboo”. The production is set in 1814 London.

James Delaney (Tom Hardy) has been travelling the world and fighting for control over his family’s legacy. He’ll be back in London to face off against old enemies, new friends and – of course – some mad people too!

The cast of the show:

The cast will include a whole host of returning favourites such as Stephen Graham, Oona Chaplin, Michael Kelly from House of Cards and David Hayman; alongside new Taboo cast members including Westworld star Ed Harris. They are also welcoming actors Jonathan Pryce who starred in Game Of Thrones as the High Sparrow, Gillian Anderson from American Gods playing King George III’s wife Queen Carolina Charlotte Sophia. Alongside these newcomers is Charles Dance reprising his role as James’ father Edward Longstreet, and Tom Hardy’s dad Edward Thomas playing James’ Uncle Unwin.

The plot of the show:

Taboo Season two sees James return to London after being on a long adventure around the world – only to find that it is now 1814 and his father has died in controversial circumstances! It will be up to him as our protagonist to take back control over his family’s legacy. But other forces are at play here; with old enemies from America alongside new friends vying for power too; not forgetting all the mad people who get pushed out of society into this uncharted land we call Taboo.

There was much speculation about what would happen next. But now it’s finally time for audiences worldwide; to go on an epic journey through unknown lands with James Delaney again.

Aidan Gillen and Tom Hardy are back for Taboo season two; which is expected to be darker than ever before with all sorts of twists and turns in store. With Aidan starring as James Delaney, his half-sister Zilpha (Oona Chaplin) at his side and a new confidante in Thorne Forrester (Jefferson Hall), son of American Royal Navy Commander Reginald Forrester played by Franka Potente – it seems that there’s no one quite like family!

But will this bond withstand when America enters war against England?

The series has been renewed for its third season too so you won’t need to worry!
