Scream 6 is an upcoming American slasher movie directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, with initial franchise writer and creator Kevin Williamson returning as administrative producer. It will be the sixth installment in the Scream movie sequel and will be a direct series to Scream (2022).
The flick stars Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown (American actress), Mason Gooding (born November 14, 1996) an American actor), Hayden Panettiere, and Courteney Cox, who are all reprising their roles from previous installments. Henry Czerny, Samara Weaving (Australian actress), and Tony Revolori were subsequently added to the characters. Franchise star Neve Campbell announced she would not be returning as Sidney Prescott due to not being pleased with the offer offered to her, creating this the first movie in the franchise not to factor in the actress or role.

The film continues with the survivors of the latest Ghostface killings, sisters Samantha and Tara Carpenter and twins Chad and Mindy Meeks, leaving Woodsboro behind and initiating a new chapter of here lives in New York City only to again be troubled by a streak of murders by a recent Ghostface killer.

The Scream 6 Release Date: Just after is Scream 6 out in theaters?
Scream 6 was originally set for release on March 31, 2023, but will now arrive in theaters at the earlier date of March 10, 2023.
Filming took place in June-August 2022 and since we’ve had the trailer now, we’re pretty confident and hopeful that the film will be released as planned in March 2023.
The Scream 6 trailer: Any Scream 6 footage, however?
As mentioned overhead, the first trailer for Scream 6 was released on December 14, but it’s very much a torturer.
It’s a 60-second trailer that pictures the four survivors from the recent film on a subway in New York City, only for their travel to be interrupted by Ghostface or possibly we should tell Ghostface.

It turns out that Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) had a brother, Roman Bridger (Leland Orser), who is looking for revenge on the people responsible for the death of Sidney’s father. He gets this chance when a copycat killer – Ghostface – comes to town and begins mimicking Billy Loomis’ (Tony Goldwyn) killings from two decades ago. Armed with information gleaned from VHS tapes detailing Billy and Pamela’s killings, Roman has taken over as Ghostface and begins his killing spree as he tries to right the wrongs that were done to his sister.
