It is with a heavy heart that I say we have reached the conclusion of ‘The Walking’ Dead season 11. It’s been a long, arduous journey fraught with betrayal, tragedy and death but we’re here now at the end as Rick Grimes inches closer to death.
As always, spoilers follow so read on if you’ve already seen the finale! If not then beware for there are major spoilers about tonight’s episode ahead.
What a season finale it was though. In a very different direction to season 10 The Walking Dead could have gone, but instead it went back to the journey and suspense of season 1 and 2.
What is ‘The Walking Dead‘ ?
‘The Walking Dead’ is an American post-apocalyptic horror television series developed for television by Frank Darabont. It is based on the comic book series, The Walking Dead, authored by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore, and published by Image Comics beginning in 2003.
It tells the story of former police officer Rick Grimes who wakes up from a coma to find the world overrun with zombies after a zombie apocalypse and must lead his group of survivors to stay alive.
It has been adapted into an AMC television drama series of the same name. The series is executive produced by Frank Darabont, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert and Greg Nicotero.
While mainly adhering to Kirkman’s source material in its plot and structure, ‘The Walking Dead’ departs somewhat from the comic book version of events in its characterization and motivations of various characters.

Is ‘The Walking Dead’ worth watching?
‘The Walking Dead’ has become a beloved TV series. The fact that it’s based on the comic book of the same name by Robert Kirkman is just a bonus. The show caters to gorephilia and loyal fans of the comics just as much as it makes us all want to shut off and rewind the episode.
‘The Walking Dead’ is essentially a post-apocalyptic zombie horror. It has all the tropes, but with a big twist in season 1. That twist is that Rick Grimes awakes from a coma to find his wife and son dead and that the world as he knew it has been overrun by zombies. Thus the show’s title – ‘The Walking Dead’. Over the years there have been cast changes and the current season 11 sees the most changes ever in that some long-time characters have been written out altogether.

The finale Season of ‘The Walking Dead’ is aired. A long journey comes to an end. It was a zombie lover’s all time favourite web series. we hope we see all character in ‘The Walking Dead’ spin off
