Jason David Frank was first introduced as Tommy Oliver (the Green Ranger) in season 2 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (MMPR). He later became the White Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo, then the Red Zeo, then Red Turbo Ranger in Power Rangers Turbo and finally the Black Dino Thunder Ranger in Power Rangers Dino Thunder.
Jason David Frank was also a mixed martial arts fighter and had a black belt in taekwondo. He depicted Tommy Oliver in 143 episodes of “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.” He then continued an on-again, off-again relationship with the “Power Rangers” series, but there was no immediate word on his latest plans.

Power Ranger The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, often abbreviated as MMPR, are the original team of Power Rangers. Although they operate from their secret base known as the Command Center located within Angel Grove’s Hart Mansion, the Power Rangers receive their powers from Zordon who is trapped within a time warp. Jason David Frank suffered a broken arm during production of Power Rangers Zeo and almost quit the business, but was convinced to stay by the producers of Power Rangers Turbo. Although he returned to be the Black Mighty Morphin’ Ranger, Jason left for good at season’s end and Tommy Oliver was written out of the series.
