It has been nearly three years since the 1st season of Hunters preview, and truth be told, fans had given up hope of the show ever being renewed. But it looks like 2023 is turning out to be a year of shows that we thought were failed. Yet, the sad news is that the upcoming season of the top-notch Video original series will also be the final, but if the series’s trailer and different promos are any indicators, then this season would be worth the wait and could outdo the earlier one. The take-turns history drama series began in 2020 February and is practically a conspiracy story. It follows Meyer Offerman, a Holocaust survivor, who finds and shows an oddball team (the titular “hunters”) to track down and eliminate Nazis hiding in the United States in the 1970s. Hunters Season 2 will see the team on an international mission to find and kill Adolf Hitler, who is been hiding out somewhere in South America and secretly planning a Fourth Reich with his missis Eva Braun, aka the Colonel. Hunters are created by David Weil, who also serves as one of the executive producers on the show, along with Jordan Peele, Nikki Toscano, Win Rosenfeld, Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, Daria Polatin (co-executive producer), and David J. Rosen. The plot drama series also boasts a costumed cast, which we will get to later.

The official trailer for the upcoming season of Hunters was released by Amazon Prime Video on December 11, 2022. The trailer isn’t out yet but considering that the show has been renewed and will commence filming sometime in early 2023, it may not be far off. If we had to take a guess, then it would be released sometime between December 2022 and January 2023. Currently, there is no exact release date for Hunters Season 2.

Who wrote the Hunters Season 2 Episodes?
David Weil wrote all of the episodes of Hunters and is also an executive producer on the show. He also directed five episodes and was one of the executive producers on one episode as well. Jordan Peele and David J. Rosen both served as writers for two episodes each. They worked together to write two episodes and with David Weil to pen another two episodes. Win Rosenfeld came up with an idea for a potential third episode, which he then passed on to David J. Rosen and David Weil. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon is one of the directors of the new season, having directed episode four. David Weil also served as an executive producer this season and wrote one episode, which is undoubtedly a big deal for such a prolific creator.

Hunters Season 2 takes place in South America. The main mission is to track down Adolf Hitler, whose whereabouts are unknown. This time around, the team finds themselves on an international mission to hunt down and kill the former German dictator, which could either be easier or harder than expected considering that he’s been living under assumed names for years. The team is joined by Mindy Markowitz because it turns out she is related to Eva Braun, which could make her an asset in finding the elusive Führer. The first season ended with Meyer and Mindy learning that Eva Braun was pregnant with Hitler’s child. The new season will focus on their secret mission to terminate the world’s most notorious Nazi leaders before they can bring about the Fourth Reich. This will be the last season of Hunters, but if Season 2 manages to live up to or exceed Season 1’s high standards and expectations then fans of the show will surely be satisfied.
