Disney+ is going to release the National Treasure : Edge of History TV series which is premiering on 14 December 2022 ,But without its original lead actor, But this time Lisette Alexis takes over. With the success of the first movie in its early 2000s, Disney has been trying to preserve and provide more content from this classic series.
In Movies the lead role of Benjamin Franklin Gates was first given to Nicolas Cage, but now in the web-series it’s going to be played by Lisette Alexis as Jess Valenzuela. Benjamin Franklin Gates is a history professor and a treasure hunter who makes his mission to find a relic that can change the world order. The first movie made more than $ 175 million in the box office, making it the highest-grossing Disney film of 2003.

It was said that Nicolas Cage will not appear in this TV series because of his busy schedule. But now Lisette Alexis who has worked with Disney in her previous project will play the character of Jess Valenzuela who is a treasure hunter.
Jess Valenzuela is said to be the twenty-year-old daughter of FBI Agent Ross and Tasha Rivers, who work together to find a relic that can change the world order. Jess’s favourite hobby is digging up ancient artefacts, who always shows interest in the old stories about Benjamin Franklin Gates.

Story of “National Treasure : Edge of Tomorrow” :-
In this TV series Jess Valenzuela is a 20-year-old treasure hunter who has a mystery to solve. She wants to find her missing father and finds the truth about her real identity. Her father was an FBI agent who worked on mysterious cases and the reason for his disappearance is unknown.
One day she receives a call from Riley Poole who, like Ben Gates in the first movie, is an expert in finding artefacts and treasure. He asks her to meet him at Rock Creek Park where they share their stories with each other, which leads them to look for a relic that can change the world order.
They go together and dig up this relic but are facing new problems as well.

The first episode of National Treasure : Edge of History received a good response from the audience. This show is available in two subscription services: Disney+ and Hulu. The duration of episodes is only 10 minutes and this show has 8 episodes in total.
