Since the original film is a direct sequel to his successful 1989 stop-motion project, Frankenweenie, there are only a few details that are known at this time. It was scheduled to premiere in theaters on October 30, 2012. In December 2012, the release date was pushed back to July 2022.
The Centre of Nightmare Before Christmas 2 will now be Sally, who is now content in her marriage to Jack. The plot will be portrayed from Sally’s point of view and will occur soon after the events in the movie, according to Ernshaw. It will follow Sally as she adjusts to her new royal position as the Pumpkin Queen of Halloween Town and makes surprising revelations about her past life.
