Money Heist Season Review: A story about a bag of money with ten million Euros.

The story of the protagonist, who steals from an unknown person that is hidden behind various masks, has been released and this time we are forced to work together and steal it back! If you’re more interested in less violence or want to avoid spoilers as much as possible there’s a season review waiting for you! The first episode opens on two prisoners (the former protagonists) at a prison called Villaviciosa de Odón where they learn through one inmate named Nadia Coronel (Danielle Winits), aka “The Queen,” that she had stolen this sum of money but was caught before she could abscond abroad. She says that the money is hidden in her cell and that there’s a clue somewhere that could lead to it. The episode ends with them being released from prison so they can find this treasure, but Nadia warns them not to steal anymore “because if she catches us again we’ll be going nowhere”.

Story-line:

first episode opens on two prisoners (the former protagonists) at a prison called Villaviciosa de Odón where they learn through one inmate named Nadia Coronel (Danielle Winits), aka “The Queen,” that she had stolen this sum of money but was caught before she could abscond abroad. She says that the money is hidden in her cell and that there’s a clue somewhere that could lead to it. The episode ends with them being released from prison so they can find this treasure, but Nadia warns them not to steal anymore “because if she catches us again we’ll be going nowhere”.

The second episode, “Forgive me for not forgiving you” begins with Nadia telling the protagonists that this clue is written on her chest, and then she removes her shirt to show them a tattooed phrase in Hebrew. They soon find out that it’s an extract from Psalm 25:11 which reads: “Nadie sabrá que estoy vivo si no es Dios”, meaning that only God knows what we do when nobody else does.

The third episode, “Let freedom ring” opens with one of the protagonists trying to decipher the rest of this verse but he can’t because there are some words missing so they decide to go looking for these three phrases throughout Madrid (the city where all episodes take place).

The fourth episode, “I give you everything I am” starts with them having found all three phrases and they start putting the puzzle together. The first phrase is from a street sign in Madrid which reads: “Let freedom ring”, the second one can be seen on a homeless man’s t-shirt which reads “Nadie sabrá que estoy vivo si no es Dios” and the third one is from a woman who can be heard yelling out loud while she walks down the street. After they put all of these phrases together, it becomes clear that this verse is about how we know when something good happens but nobody else does at first.
