We are sorry to announce that The Society Season two has been cancelled. This is because the show was not getting enough viewers during its first season, and it didn’t make sense for Netflix to move forward with a second one. Therefore, we are not going to receive the entire season two in a three-week span which I am perfectly fine with since it means that our obsession is prolonged for an extended amount of time.
Most importantly, there have been talks about whether or not they will be releasing episodes weekly like Netflix did last year (which would mean no more waiting all at once) but because this has yet to be confirmed, we can only guess until they reveal their plans before Season Two premieres next Thursday morning.

This came as a huge shock to me because I loved this show for what it managed to do with its intelligent script, suspenseful action scenes, and intriguing plotlines… In addition to his work on Stranger Things, director Shawn Levy will be executive-producing Season Two with 21 Laps’ Dan Cohen. This should make up some slack in terms of quality control if nothing else. And because they’ve had so many obstacles thrown at them these past few months, I’m crossing my fingers that their second season will turn out better than the first.
