The third and final installment in Marvel’s beloved space-bound superhero franchise is finally here: “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”. The series is expected to wrap up the trilogy and reveal exactly what happened to the team after their unfortunate run-in with Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War”. Fans have been waiting for nearly three years for any glimpse of Vol. 3, but Marvel has finally released a new trailer—an extended version of the teaser that was shown at Comic-Con last year.
The trailer gives us a chance to see Baby Groot (Vin Diesel) dance, Rocket (Bradley Cooper) has his trademark bite and Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill gets to say the line that is perhaps the most popular thing about him: “Whose idea was it to put a talking raccoon in a spaceship.
What is the Release date of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will start showing on the big screen on 5th May 2023. Marvel has already finished shooting the movie and released the first trailer of the movie. The third film in the series was originally scheduled to be released in May 2020 but was later pushed back by Marvel Studios to an unspecified date in 2023 after script issues.
Disney Plus will start streaming the movie sometime after 19th June 2023. But if Guardians 3 may exceptionally well go at the box office, Marvel might extend the theatrical window beyond that mid-June window.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3″ expected plot:
A lot of fans have been wondering what the plot of “Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3” would be. The movie stands to be the final installment to this trilogy of films (the first being titled “Guardians of the Galaxy”, and the second, “Vol. 2”). It will certainly explain what happened to Quill’s team after Thanos’s defeat in “Avengers: Infinity War”. As expected, “Vol. 3” will tie up all loose ends that were left out in the first two movies and summarize where they are going after their end-of-credit scene in “Infinity War”. We are still not sure if this movie will have any sort of post-credit scene with Marvel Studios or not.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2″ reviews and ratings:
The sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1, had a pretty good opening weekend with $146 million at the box office. It is estimated that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 made $347 million which is way more than its predecessor’s opening. While “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” did very well at its box office, critics have it quite bad for the movie and stated that it has “no redeeming qualities”. While this may be true, critics at Variety gave the film an A+ rating saying that it was “socially engaging and politically by the numbers”.
