Product Description: George Lucas’s archeologist adventurer, Indy (Harrison Ford), is now a grandfather, but he’s still as adventurous as ever. When his friend and partner Marcel (John Hurt) goes missing while searching for the Fountain of Youth, Indy sets off to find him—only to cross paths with a dangerous 1957 Soviet agent named Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett). The Soviets aren’t the only ones looking for the legendary Fountain of Youth—so are Indy’s son Mutt (Shia LaBeouf) and Mutt’s ex-girlfriend Rene Russo.
George Lucas’s childhood friend, Steven Spielberg, returns to the director’s chair for the fifth adventure of Indiana Jones. “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” is being filmed in London and in various locations around the world. The action-packed adventure reunites Ford with his Han Solo directorial debut “The Expendables 3”.
The Indiana Jones collectible comes from “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” The movie is a fast-paced action adventure that pits Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones Jr. (Harrison Ford) against Soviet agents and a sinister group known as the Vortex in their race to find a powerful relic known as “The Crystal Skull”. The movie also stars Cate Blanchett, Ray Winstone, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent, Karen Allen, Shia LaBeouf and Ray Stevenson.
John Williams, who composed the score for the first three films, returns to write a new score for “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”

Music
In June 2016, Spielberg confirmed that John Williams, who scored for the previous films in the Indiana Jones franchise, would return to compose the music for the fifth film.In 2022, Williams stated that it would be his final film score, following plans for a retirement.Williams premiered one of his compositions, “Helena’s Theme”, at the Hollywood Bowl on September 2, 2022, at Mangold’s request.
The Crystal Skulls
In the film, two skulls are featured. The first skull is destroyed, as depicted in the film. The second skull is a copy of the first (made in 1957), and is now kept in a secret vault in Area 51 in Nevada.
Production design crews studied real crystal and created molds with plexiglass blanks, which they then filled with colored liquid to create a “crystal” effect. A team of 30 created all the copies used in the film; actor Shia LaBeouf wore one during filming. According to visual effects supervisor Mike Wassel, “every shot has multiple crystal skulls somewhere.

July 13, 2008 – The first teaser trailer is released. It shows the return of Indiana Jones from the previous four films, albeit with a grizzled beard and a low ponytail. It also shows the return of the famous hat (now much darker than before) and the use of a whip-like grappling gun. The iconic Indy theme composed by John Williams plays in the background at several points during the film when Harrison Ford briefly appears on screen. It also shows brief shots of Cate Blanchett, Ray Winstone, John Hurt and Shia LaBeouf as they are shown pursuing Dr.
