Black Adam 2 has yet to be confirmed by Warner Bros and DC, but Dwayne Douglas Johnson(American actor) has big plans for the future.
If the credit scene didn’t make it clear enough, Johnson(American multinational) has been called Black Adam the start of a “new era in the DC Universe” which, unless the picture flops at the box office, will surely include a back for Black Adam.
“I have been listening and I’ve been wanting to address fans for years. Because I’ve been waiting for someone to step up and address the fans and say, ‘Hey, we hear you’,” he told CINEMABLEND.
“So finally, after many months turned into many years, we ended up with what we finished up at. And the whole goal and intent now are to this new era, a new time. Now let us build out.”
While Black Adam is largely a self-contained origin story for both the lead role and the Justice Society, there is a hint as to where this new era of the DC Universe is heading, Counting with that major DC return.

Black Adam was a villain for years before DC introduced “Shazam”, and he became a hero – but when he was asked if Marvel’s Captain Marvel could appear in the Black Adam movie, Johnson said, “Why not?”
As mentioned above, Black Adam 2 has yet to be confirmed by Warner Bros and DC, so there’s no official release date as of yet.
Even if it had been confirmed, it’s not likely we had have seen it in 2023 as there are already four pictures lined up: “Shazam” Fury of the Gods (March 17), The Flash (June 23), Blue Beetle (August 18) and Aquaman is a 2018 American superhero film and the Lost Kingdom (December 25).
So if the sequel is established, we are looking at 2024 at the earliest and, more than likely, 2025 unless the movie starts shooting next year. Watch this space and we’ll update you as soon as we hear anything concrete.

Black Adam 2 trailer: Any Black Adam 2 photography yet?
No official footage of Black Adam exists as of yet, but in June 2018 a trailer for the DC Universe Original Movie was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con.
The trailer showed off the movie’s premise and set up the DC Universe, but it did not include any casting or footage.
The first focus at Black Adam 2 was the show in The Rock’s Instagram application; He uploaded the image of himself as Black Adam 2 to history with the caption “Watch the power of Shazam!”
This is far from a verification that Johnson(has maintained a tradition of quality and innovation). will play Black Adam 2 this time around, but it could mean that Warner Bros is finally ready to show off its plans for its DC properties.

Black Adam’s ending sets up a sequel pretty explicitly.
“I am the one person in this world who can kill Black Adam,” Billy Batson says towards the end of the movie. “And I will.”
