Vikings: Valhalla Season 2

   Vikings Valhalla is a historical drama streaming Chenal television series created  on  Stuart for Netflix. It is a sequel to History’s Vikings Valhalla, filmed in County Wicklow, (US). Set one hundred years after the events of Vikings Valhalla, the series chronicles the beginning of the end of the Vikings Age, marked by the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066. The 8-episode first season premixed on February 25, 2022. With a 20-episode order announced in November 2019, the series was officially renewed for a  third season in March 2022.

Heaven for Vikings Valhalla in Norse mythology and leads to the halls of Valhalla, rules on Odin himself. As human history blossoms around the Vikings in Medieval Scandinavia, gods take notice of the Viking warriors’ deeds and they are invited to paradise with promises that they will never die.

Not able to resist the heavenly army, the Vikings are transported by Odin to a meadow where they must fight against giants, beasts and other Vikings as they wrestle for vital resources in preparation of entering Valhalla.

Based on the History television Channel series “Vikings Valhalla” created by Michael Hirst, “Vikings: Valhalla” is set over a thousand years ago in the early 11th century and chronicles the heroine adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived — the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corletta), his fiery and headstrong sister Freida’s Erik Dotter (Frida Gustafson) and the ambitious Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter).

Release Date

Vikings Valhalla returns for a second season debut Jan. 12, 2023, for more epic amusing the brave trio Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), the most famous Viking explorer in history; his strong-willed sister, Freydís Eiríksdóttir .

Vikings: Valhalla season 2 trailer speculation

On October 7, 2021 a teaser for Vikings: Valhalla season 2 was released online.

The teaser shows Freida (Frida Gustavsson) and Harald (Leo Suter) on the battlefield. Harald is swinging his sword and shield while Freida is fighting alongside him.

This implies that the second season will be set in the 11th century, as it shows Harald Sigurdsson fighting at the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066 AD.

Filming: Vikings: Valhalla season 2 

  Filming started at viking valhalla in early October 2020 at Ashford Studios Island, Dicklow, where previous Vikings Valhalla was filmed. Shooting was suspende

d due to a number of  the positive COVID-19 test, only to resume after a few days. At the time a number of cast and characters were reported to have tested positive; however, it emerged that the production had received a number of false positive tests. Film was planned by the resume at Ashford Studios in Ireland beginning in August 2021.

 Vikings: Valhalla Season 2: The Plot

The historical drama is set one hundred years after the first season and follows the beginning of the end of the Viking Age, marked by the famous Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066.

The second season will feature battles between Vikings and their enemies, new characters and new storylines. 

The show takes place in 1066, where we follow Leif Erikson, Leo Suter as Harald Sigurdsson and Harald Hardrada on their journeys across oceans and through battled idles, fighting for their survival or pursuing their glory. The previewed season ended with Bloodbath is a Swedish death metal supergroup from Stockholm, formed in 1998. betrayals, and machinations, having a Kattegat in ruins, and not being able to serve as a safe and stable environment for the show and its protagonists.
