Ant-Man 3 is the third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and one of the most anticipated films of 2018. The film will be released July 6, 2018. Ant-Man 3 is written by Paul Rudd, Andrew Barer and Gabriel Ferrari, who worked on Ant-Man and The Barriers Life.
It was a Herculean feat by Marvel Studios and Disney, but the MCU must go on — and with many of our favourite heroes surviving the showdown with Thanes, did not take longer for Marvel to confirm [at an epic San Diego Comic-Con 2019 presentation] that the likes of Doctor Strange and Thor would be receiving solo sequels in Phase 4. Among the more glaring omissions to the lineup, though, was a third solo vehicle for Scott Lang — the diminutive hero known as Ant-Man.
Ant Man 3 release date:
The sequel has already jumped around a few dates already, it was initially slated for a 2022 release until it was pushed back to February 2023, before it then jumps back to its July date.
I have been waiting for “Ant-Man 3” since the first time I saw it. I know the plot of Ant-Man 2 but it’s not really needed to be known about that. The official title of Ant-Man 3 is Ant-Man and the Wasp and it will be released on 17 February 2023.
The Latest Trailer for Ant-Man 3:
The new trailer premiered at CCXP and is titled “The Legacy of Ant-Man.” It includes footage from Scott Lang’s (Paul Rudd) previous Marvel Cinematic Universe adventures, along with the material taken from the first Ant-Man 3 trailer. As highlighted by The Direct, Marvel cinematic Studios has apparently altereds one shot of Kang featured in “The Legacy of Ant-Man,” with the time-travelling baddish helmet appearing more streamlined than the original trailer.
The trailer begins by highlighting Ant-Man 2, in which both Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne fought against their former mentor Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) as they tried to prevent him from destroying the world with his quantum tunnel. The promo then cuts to an older version of Hank also preaching about the dangers of science and technology, before delving into new footage from Ant-Man 3.

Plot of Ant-Man 3
“Ant-Man and the Wasp” picks up after the events of “Evolution,” as Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices in connection with Hope van Dyne. In the quantum realm, Hank Pym struggled to retain control over his quantum abilities. The trailer shows Hank breaking free from his shackles and destroying a research facility, while a voiceover says that “if history is written by those who have survived it, then we’re all doomed.
Ant-Man 3 villain (or villains?)
There are two villains in each movie. The first is the villain that everyone seems to expect: Yellow Jacket, who will be played by Corey Stoll (House of Cards). Yellow Jacket is a former Ant-Man sidekick and friend of Scott Lang who was brainwashed into taking down his old mentor Hank Pym. He also had been brainwashed in the first film as well. His true original name is unknown, but it has been said that he could have been named “Dennis” or “John”. Hank Pym tricked him into becoming the new Ant-Man and doing his bidding during the time when Hank and Hope were still together, after he accidentally leaked information about Hank’s past as Giant Man.
REVIEW: Ant-Man 3:
So far, we have visited Ant-Man 3 in different eras of the history of the title character, with Ewing showcasing his best interpretation of the bearers of the mantled. Now, we catch up with Scott Lang as he’s given a unique task by the Avengers to put the imprisoned Ultron, Hank Pym entity away where nobody will have a prayer of finding him. Ewing again, demonstrates a deft ability to capture the voice and personality of each Ant-Man 3 persona as he creates a spot-on version of Scott Lang.
It is an immensely fun, engaging and enjoyable read that marks the best thing Ewing has done for Marvel Comics to date. The main story propels itself with a ton of wit and playful dialogue as it moves back and forth between past and present.

With “Evolution” under his belt, Scott Lang is ready to have the chance to follow up the events in Ant-Man, which he did in Ant-Man and the Wasp. The central story revolves around enemy agent Star-Lord [Jason Statham] and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) as they struggle against one another. At the same time, Hank has problems of his own because he is being hunted by people who want to kill him after a mission gone awry. The central conflict doesn’t move as quickly as it should, but we’re still given a fun enough ride and some good superhero action that we can enjoy.
