hunters season 2 1

The first season of Hunters was a surprise to many people. The series was created by Simon Barry, who is best known as the creator and executive producer of spin-off show Continuum. Even though Hunters had an impressive cast, it never seemed to have quite enough hype behind it before its release date.

Thankfully, this didn’t stop the show from being one of the most talked-about new shows on TV in 2016! With big names such as Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica) and Anna Hopkins (Orphan Black), what could go wrong?

Hunters Season One – Review:

The show began with Agent Liam Cole (Adam Copeland) and his partner, Isabelle Hartley (Michelle Harrison), investigating a CERN scientist who was not only missing but had also been killed. After meeting up with their CIA contact in Berlin, they were able to find out that the murder victim was actually one of five other scientists around the world who happened to be working on something called “The Event.”

It turns out that each of these six scientists created an exact copy of themselves as part time-travellers from 2046 so they could work here today without ever ageing or dying. This particular murdered scientist’s plan seemed to have worked until he discovered some new information about what would happen.

In order to escape the future they had created, this scientist and his team of time-travelling clones needed a way to destroy themselves before their plan was set in motion.

This is where Agents Miller (played by Duncan Lacroix) and Stillman come in. At first, these two seem like an unlikely pair as Agent Stillman seems more interested in making sure things go according to plan while Agent Miller’s past has shown that he likes living on the edge.

Hunters Season Two: Review and Story Details

two seem like an unlikely pair as Agent Stillman seems more interested in making sure things go according to plan while Agent Miller’s past has shown that he likes living on the edge. As it turns out, both agents have been tasked with preventing “The Event” from ever happening at all costs so when they were given intel about some suspicious activities being conducted at CERN – one of the places housing equipment for building wormholes – their journey takes them deep into a world where science isn’t always black or white and everything might not be what it first appears.

Short Summary:

The stakes are higher than before as there’s more riding on the current mission. Will they succeed and if so will anybody else even find out about it? Season one ends with a shocking cliffhanger revelation: at least one of the Hunters is not who he or she appears to be! What does this mean for their future missions – can you really trust anybody?

Season two picks up during hunters season three with our heroes in Berlin trying to prevent an event that could destroy all life on Earth. The stakes are higher than before, as there’s more riding on this particular mission. Will they succeed and if so will anybody else even know about it? Season one ends with a shocking revelation: at least one of the Hunters is not who he or she appears to be! What does this mean for their future missions – can you really trust anyone anymore?

Conclusion:

Hunters is a show about the people who fight to protect us from things we can’t see. The basic premise of the show revolves around three humans protecting the earth from supernatural beings that are hellbent on our destruction. In season one there were plenty of obstacles for these three hunters, but it seems like they may have an even more difficult time in this second series as some secrets come out of hiding and new threats emerge. Fans will definitely be interested to know if any other Hunters will appear throughout the next few episodes! We’re not sure yet why all three characters seem so different at times; what their plans are after saving Earth.
