Joker director Todd Phillips recently shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the film’s legendary dance set at West 167th Street Stairway in New York.

Much has been written about the Joker, from his main performances to his dark ending. The movie acts like an eccentric villain like an Elvisaurus. Now Batman was not directly involved in the creation of the character, nor was the use of acid from Ace chemists. Instead, the Joker will become the Joker, Arthur Flake, a mentally ill man constantly pushed aside by society.

The clown dance scene was filmed near the West 167th Street station of the New York City subway in the Bronx. The main character slid down the stairs of Gary Glitter’s “Rock and Roll, Part 2” just before he was interrupted and followed by two police officers. The film has become a tourist attraction since the film’s release.

The phoenix plays in The Joker as Joker Arthur Flake, who becomes increasingly paranoid and violent as he takes on the personality of the crown prince of crime. The film was a critical and commercial success and gave Phoenix the Oscar for Best Actor and the Oscar for Best Original Soundtrack for composer Hilder Gooddonothir.

The character will appear alongside Robert Pattinson in The Batman, played by Joe Kravitz, who previously played a role in the movie Lego Batman.

Joker cast

Following the success of The Joker, star Joaquin Phoenix has announced whether he will join the sequel.

Directed by Todd Phillips, the joker stars Joaquin Phoenix, Robert De Niro, Zazie Beitz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroe, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleschler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Paes, and Shea Whigham. The movie is now available in digital HD, Blu-ray, 4K UHD, DVD, and HBO Max.
