Kelly McCormick, the writer, and director of Violent Night 2 have said that she may start work on a sequel to the film. She said: “I could go either way with it – I’m not sure if I want to make a sequel, but if there is going to be one, I would like it to be bigger, more brutal.”
McCormick also discussed what she would put in the (potential) sequel: “There’s a lot more time spent on this family who live next door and they’re involved in some messed up stuff. They are a lot more screwed up than the kids. I wanted to explore that.”
She continued: “I want the audience to feel the same way they did when they watched the original, which is that it’s very intense and it’s very uncomfortable because you don’t know what’s going to happen.”
Violent Night two is casting Mrs. Claus:
Mrs. Claus is set to appear in the sequel to the horror flick “Violent Night”. The original film tells the story of a group of kids who go to the house of some neighbors for a Christmas party. Soon enough, they find out that the neighbors are cannibals and have been eating people for years ever since one of their sons went missing.
The sequel, entitled “V2: The Night’s Watch”, will continue that story but with a different batch of characters. As it turns out, Mrs. Claus has gone missing as well, and now her husband – Santa Claus – is being hunted by a group of characters who want revenge on him for what he did to his wife.
