Tapping into the superpowers she inherited from her mother and other Wakandan ancestors, Williams goes on a journey to learn how to control her powers and use them for good. In the first season, audiences will see Riri explore her powers and harness them for the greater good.

After Riri Williams, A.K.A. Ironheart, conflicts with the villainous Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) in her home of Wakanda,

She decides to go to America to train with Stark Industries’ Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and his team at Avengers Academy, which includes fellow student and genius science whiz Parker Robbins (Anthony Ramos). At the beginning of Iron Man’s career, he created a suit of armour for a teenage girl named Riri Williams that allowed her to fight crime at night. Upon hearing about this decision from Jarvis, Tony Stark creates an updated version of his original armour for Riri.

The series is inspired by the Invincible Iron Man comic book on the character of Riri Williams. In that series, Tony Stark mentors a brilliant young girl who explores her superpowers and helps him develop new technology for his company.

Ironheart Series Expectation–

The show will bring diversity to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Its creator, Brian Michael Bendis, has said it will feature prominent black women in leading roles and a majority-nonwhite cast. It also represents an opportunity for Marvel Studios to bring the Black Panther universe into the MCU fold.

The first one, and the least important one, is that Ironheart is the best example of a terrible SJW character. She’s a woke, black, female teenager who’s written by an old white dude. This is painfully obvious in her comics that Bendis doesn’t have the slightest idea of what it’s like to be a black girl and doesn’t care. He just wants woke points. There’s another version written by someone else that’s not awful, but it hasn’t gotten a lot of praise either.

This is annoying because there are a lot of diverse characters I would love to see get an MCU show. First of all, we already have a black girl genius in the MCU. Maybe Shuri is going to be the black panther so she’s already getting her show, but I think I speak for everyone when I say a show focused on any of the Wakanda ladies would be embraced by fans. If they want to introduce an original character, they could have made a Patriot (Eli Bradley) show. Not only is he a great character, but he also fits well into the universe, tying into Young Avengers and already having a minor role in the falcon and the obscenely long title.

This is especially annoying because the MCU has been just bad at picking up a lot of diverse characters. Nothing is stopping them from building an entirely new team with different race and gender representation.
