Marvel has reached a point where it is scaling the hype, creating media hype, and leaving fans in continual excitement. In the past few weeks, we have seen media running articles saying that Marvel has made a new deal with Disney, that they closed Avengers shows with “A New Thread”, and even an article from Ken Watanabe who played Vision in Avengers:
Infinity War which caused more controversy after claiming Marvel Studios was “hurting” him.
This week, however, has been quite a bit more exciting as we have found some solid news about Avengers 5. At this point, it is safe to assume that the movie will be in Disney+, a new streaming service that will possibly arrive in Fall 2025 and will host a number of other upcoming Marvel properties.
We are still waiting for the official announcement since we already know that Disney owns Marvel and that the MCU is still very much in effect.

Possible Background of Avengers 5
It has been rumoured in the past that Marvel is trying to implement a Quantum Realm into the MCU with Avengers 4. This is not true, as Quantum Realm was never part of the plan for Infinity War. However, we do have some information that might change your mind about this.
Marvel (and more specifically Kevin Feige) have been talking about Thanos as far back as 2014 when they released the first official synopsis for Avengers: Age of Ultron. At one point, they even mentioned Thanos taking over the universe at some point in his future timeline which insisted he would then take on Earth and kill half of the world’s population.
Release Date of Avenger 5–
Avenger 5 has a confirmed release date of 2nd May 2025. This Kang Dynasty release date was announced by Marvel at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, so it’s come straight from the horse’s mouth.
“The plot of Avengers 5
The source was quick to emphasise that while this information remains accurate, as far as they are concerned, right now, things could change as “the script is still being worked on and the final plot details won’t be nailed down yet.” But fans can get an idea of the picture Marvel Studios is building for Phase 6 and beyond.
This would be a great way for Marvel to conclude multiple plots and characters in Phase 6. It lets them conclude the journey of Thanos without having to find a way to fit it into another movie, as well as telling a new story about major Kang which is not about his future actions but rather about how he got to where he was in the MCU and his history with Nathaniel Richards (who will be played by Benedict Cumberbatch).
If Marvel Studios really is going ahead with the idea of integrating Nathaniel Richards into the MCU, they need somebody with Cumberbatch’s star power.
“Expectations from Avenger 5–
It’s too early to expect anything about Avengers 5 yet. , with no cast members confirmed in their roles yet. and while that might come with news of Avenger 5 (or even another movie or two), it would be a mistake on Marvel’s part to go into detail at this stage.
That’s the dilemma they face when they reveal characters and movies too early because there’s always a chance that they may have to change direction later on.”
