Who are ‘Thunderbolts’ in Marvel Comics ?
Created by Carl Burgos, Arnaldo Carvalho. Thunderbolts originally appeared as a villainous team of supervillains who battled the Avengers in “The Avengers” #1 (Nov. 1964). Created by Carl Burgos and Arnold Drake, their story was primarily set up in “What If?” vol. 2 #17, where they were depicted as doing battle with the Hulk during a crossover between the two series. The team would go on to fight prominent heroes such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Rom the Space knight, The Fantastic Four and the X-Men.
In the mid-1990s, Marvel Comics created a new series, written by Kurt Busiek, with art primarily by Mark Bagley. This comic book series ran for 62 issues and focused on an ad hoc team of super-villains exiled from the United States following a failed attempt to take over a small Caribbean island. Dubbed “The Thunderbolts” as an analogy to their psychological makeup as troubled individuals attempting to overcome past misdeeds and move forward with their lives with a strong moral code, they were officially sanctioned by the U.S. government to act as deniable assets in operations that both could not be revealed publicly nor leave any official U.S.-based records behind.

What will be the Plot of ‘Thunderbolts’ ?
In this movie we are going to see Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier. He has a face off with David Harbour as Red Guardian in the beginning of the film.
Florence Pugh will play Yelena Belova, a Black Widow from a Russian spy agency. She will be shown to have undergone a procedure that supposedly rids her of all attachments; she is completely cold-blooded and focused on completing her missions. Yelena infiltrates the group on behalf of Russia, while Pugh’s character Iris is also a Black Widow but seemingly wants to help the team.
In a later post, it was revealed that she will actually be Yelena Belova, who was first seen in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” She will be a friend of Nick Fury and Maria Hill. She will be based out of Moscow, and her role is to report back to Russian communications about Winter Soldier’s condition. The Winter Soldier has not been in contact with his previous handlers since the events of “Civil War”. He seems to have formed an alliance with Maria Hill from S.H.I.E.L.D.
