It’s time for the annual Riverdale High football game, and Archie Andrews is excited about seeing his friend Kevin for the first time. Unfortunately, Kevin is late, so Archie goes to watch the game with his best pal Jughead Jones. As they sit in their seats in the stands of their school stadium, a dark cloud slowly descends on Riverdale and a strange fog begins to cover the city. The fog thickens until nobody can see anything at all. Archie and his friends decide to go to the drive-in movie theatre While they are riding in their car, they see a mysterious woman on the side of the road. She has a tortured expression on her face and is dressed like she has been walking for miles.
