Stranger Things 5 will likely follow the Hawkins gang’s final adventure as they team up to crack their biggest mystery yet: how to defeat Vecna once and for all. The Duffer Brothers previously told TV Line that there will be a time jump, and confirmed to Collider that the last season will primarily be set in Hawkins and the Upside Down—no more being split between Russia, California, and Indiana. Supernatural forces have been invading Hawkins, Indiana. Dave, Will, and Lucas (all played by Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and Gaten Matarazzo) are still searching for their friends. (“Castle Party”) Meanwhile, Jonathan’s missing. (“The Game”) They need to find him in time to save the kids from their kidnappers. The show will end with Will being reunited with the rest of his family in the hospital. (“The Storm”)
“STRANGER THINGS EXPECTATION–
The social media interaction and hype around this show have been incredible. The show’s creators are expected to give us a bigger action-packed story, while still retaining the emotion we liked in previous seasons. The expectations of fans on the show have been quite different from the past performances.
But this is a war none of them can fight alone, so they’ll need to put the band back together if they want to stop the shadow monster from destroying Hawkins.
There are still plenty of questions about what’s going on only time will tell. But if you’ve been paying attention to all the clues so far, there are some things fans have concluded about season 5.
The government knows more than it’s letting on, and Eleven may hold answers to a lot of mysteries that have plagued Hawkins since its beginning.
“STRANGER THINGS PREVIOUS SEASON PLOT SUMMARY–
Following the events of the season four finale, it’s time for the gang to face their biggest challenge yet. And this time, they’re together. The forces of good have joined together to solve a mystery that’s been plaguing Hawkins since it was founded by none other than a former Hawkins National Guard member named Jim Hopper.
Stuck in his house after being abducted by the Demogorgon, five-year-old Will Byers finally has company after his mother Joyce (who is living in Russia on a government mission) and his extended family join him. Season 4 kicks off with Mike and Eleven reunited as they are called upon to help Joyce find her son and return to Hawkins.
Will has been in some sort of “frozen state” since being taken by the Demogorgon, and his brain is still functioning. But he’s been able to communicate with his mother only while they are in the Upside Down. The Demogorgon has also abducted Joyce, leaving Mike to undertake a dangerous mission to find her and rescue her before it’s too late.
While sneaking around Hawkins to search for their friends, Mike and Eleven meet Lucas Sinclair [who has since been confirmed as a love interest for Mike.
