we finally got the first glimpse of what will be happening in season 7 of Outlander. Over on the official Facebook page for Outlander, a brand-new teaser trailer was released giving us a sneak peek into what’s to come. This trailer is packed with great moments of Claire and Jamie together as well as some epic battles. The teaser starts with Claire approaching the standing stones and we see Jamie standing there waiting for her. They embrace and kiss before walking further into the cave. Back in the 1700s, we see Jamie training his men while Claire is standing in the middle of a huge crowd in a very beautiful dress. We then see Claire fighting on horseback, which looks epic. It looks like she’s trying to protect someone or something as she takes out some men in front of her with her sword.
Outlander fans can celebrate that they won’t have to wait as long for season seven after season six was delayed and ended up being shorter than normal — both of which were, of course, caused by the epidemic. The additional good news is that there will be 16 episodes overall instead of the customary 12. And now Sam Heughan has confirmed that the seventh season of Outlander would undoubtedly premiere in 2023. Additionally, Starz has produced a teaser that specifies “summer 2023” as the timeframe.
Outlander’s seventh season will premiere in the summer of 2023, and the first teaser has finally been made public. The initial preview was like a holiday gift, but a full trailer is still to come. It was released on Friday, December 23, and hinted at Claire and Jamie’s upcoming chapter while making references to both the past and the future. Additionally, it foreshadows greater conflict, peril, and, of course, love.
Season 6 cast members that are back:
The show announced on social media that several well-known characters from previous seasons will be returning:
New cast members are as follows:
We are certain that there will be much more than season six. With Glamour, Starz P.R. revealed that there will be a whopping 16 episodes. It’s the biggest since season one, which had 16 episodes as well, but even that season was shown in two parts throughout 2014 and 2015.
The events of Gabaldon’s seventh book, An Echo in the Bone, will probably be followed in Season 7. Brianna, Roger, and their son Jem are all included in the story. One of Brianna’s coworkers abducts Jem in search of gold when they discover an old letter regarding hidden riches. Brianna and Roger travel back in time to hunt for the man since they think he brought Jem there. Fans should anticipate Brianna and her family traveling to the 1970s at some point this season, even if the Season 6 ending still showed them living in the past.
Outlander Season 6 clocked in at a 5.3 rating and 6.6 million total viewers on Starz, making it the network’s most-watched series ever.
