“Hanna” Season 2: Area of Interest, Review, Cast and Rating

Hanna is back for its second season, and the show has finally found its voice. The first season was a little all over the place with no focus, but this season they have narrowed in on an area of interest: Hanna’s sister Kate. Now that there is one clear storyline, the show has become much more engaging and enjoyable to watch. This review will discuss what you can expect from Season 2 of Hanna!

Cast:

The cast includes Mirelle Enos as Hannah Price (season one), Emma Appleton as Kate Ross (season one), Natasha Lyonne as Nicole George (seasons one-two). A complete list of characters appears here…

The show also stars Peter Sarsgaard as Eric Northman (season one), Reed Diamond as Aiden Shaw (seasons one-two) and a complete list of characters appears here…

Rating:

This season gets 4/5 suns. It is very similar to the first season in terms of quality, but with much better pacing. The storyline is more engaging than last time and many interesting twists keep you guessing at every turn! I hope this changes your mind about giving it another chance if you didn’t like Season One.

how season 2 will hold you with content?

Now a show that I have watched from the very beginning is “Hanna.” It starts with Hanna Price, who in season one of this show has killed her family and now tries to move on. She meets Kate Ross, another woman like herself who had done some bad things but was trying to change for her daughter’s sake. The two become friends quite quickly and eventually meet up after going their separate ways again at the end of Season One. In Season Two they go back into what happened to them when they were younger – it turns out these girls are being used as test subjects by an unknown organization! After finding out about each other’s pasts (and giving flashbacks) we find out more about how both killed her family, and the two form a bond.

The season is full of suspense and mystery as Hanna and Kate try to figure out who they are, what they’re doing there, who’s behind it all. The two go back into their pasts to find clues but end up going back in time more than once after having been “reset”. They also finally meet the other test subjects (who were told that this was just therapy) to get answers about everything! We see some new faces – one being Nicholas Brody from Homeland fame! There’s a lot of drama too with FBI agents coming close to finding out where these girls are because someone they had trusted leaked information.

interesting things about this season:

the girls start to question if they’re really in a mental institution or not and we learn that all of them were told it was just therapy. This season ends with Hanna finally meeting her fellow test subjects (who had been “reset” because they went too far) and learning more about this conspiracy.

someone in their team betrays them but no one can figure out who – so there’s lots of suspicion around every character! We also get introduced to Nicholas Brody from Homeland, which is cool because he doesn’t know what’s going on yet either. Looks like Season Three could be intense!!

the girls finally get a “plan” in this season and it’s so cool to see them work together. They use their talents to break out of the institution, which is something they never really did before!

there are some new characters introduced (Michel) that I’m not sure what to make of yet but all three seasons have been great for me so far. Definitely recommend checking this show out if you like suspenseful dramas with female leads who can stand up on their own two feet.

a very satisfying end to the season, and I’m excited for Season Three now. It’s going to be really tough though considering they’re in Russia! But at least we know what got them there…

The girls finally get a “plan” in this season and it’s so cool to see them work together. They use their talents–especially Carrie who is actually pretty handy with some of those weapons!–to break out of the institution, which is something they never really did before! There are also new characters introduced (Michel) that I’m not sure what to make of yet but all three seasons have been great for me so far. Definitely recommend checking this show out if you like suspenseful dramas with female leads who are smart and powerful.

conclusion:

I quite enjoyed watching this show for its second season; the cast was good, acting superb, and storyline enough to keep you watching.

The season finale left me with a lot of questions and I’m excited for Season Three!
