2020 on Netflix. Black Summer Season Two will be eight episodes only as opposed to the first season’s six. The cast is currently filming in Atlanta with a release date set for 2020.

The cast currently filming is comprised of an impressive lineup:

Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer; Emmy-nominated actress/producer Tatiana Maslany; Amanda Warren who starred on AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead; Tony award nominee Sophie Okonedo from Blackish and Doctor Who fame. Jessica Sula is also a star in this show. She has recently won over audiences with her performance as Naomi Clark on Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why .”

“The Black Museum tells the story of a man who has been wrongfully convicted and locked away for life on death row because he apparently murdered his own father. He is exonerated by DNA evidence 25 years later.” I guess it’s not so far-fetched to think that this man could have made some really bad choices during those 25 lost years, but in any case, there will be no more waiting around for what we hope is another great season!
