Fans of the Jordan Peele-style panic, get excited: Lovecraft Country promises the supernatural monsters you’ve been waiting for. The new HBO series was announced in 2017 and is now almost here. Below, we know everything about the show so far.
It is based on a book.
Jim Crow is based on a young veteran who travelled to Souther in the 50s. Along the way, he goes in search of his lost father who encounters both human and supernatural areas.
Some Popular faces are included
Both JJ got Abrams and Jordan Peele are working as executive producers.
It was Peele who brought Misha Green (Underground) to the TV series ‘Shrunner’. “When I first read Lovecraft Country I knew it had potential like nothing on TV,” Green said when the show was first announced in 2017.
The Trailer is much promising
As police continue to protest brutality across the country, Lovecraft Country shoots a second trailer (below), and agents repeatedly terrorize the main protagonists of terrorism in black. (And since it’s a supernatural horror series, it also has a lot of natural threats.) It’s the second trailer that can debut. The first entry is by Atticus Freeman (Jonathan Majors), his friend Letitia (Jeanie Smollett-Bell) and Uncle George (Courtney B. Vance). Lovecraft also gives the Country a proper look, as the crew has to turn around, and VFX promises plenty of monsters to feed on. See the full story at the top.
This is family business.
