Another Drylander will be upon us soon, but there’s some light at the end of this paired tunnel – the show will officially return to Starz for Season 6.
On Sunday, the fifth season of Outlander, Clare and Jamie saw the inevitability of the Revolutionary War set up on Fraser’s Ridge from afar. While the next season of the series has yet to be filmed (more than that), we have a pretty good idea of what to expect for the Diana Gabaldon book series. Here we know about Season 6, and be aware that there may be a slight deterioration ahead.
Starz announced all kinds of news in May 2018, confirming that, just like Season 5, Season 6 would include 12 episodes.
Interestingly, the show has already captured some of the book’s highlights, including Lionel Brown’s capture of Claire. Men lay dead on the streets of Boston, and in the forests of North Carolina, individual cabins are burned in the woods.
As the chaos matured, the Governor called Jamie Fraser to unite the country and protect the king’s colony and crown. But his wife, Jamie, knows that in three years the bullet heard in the world will be fired and lead to freedom, with those loyal to the king or dead or exiled. And there’s also a small cutout from the Willington Gazette, dated 1776, reporting Jamie’s death with his family. For once, wait, your time travelling family may be wrong about the future.
But, if you are looking for a spoiler, a very detailed summary of the book is perfect this way.
