The Witcher Season 2: Filming Will Reportedly Resume From August 2020

Following the announcement of the reopening of Arborfield Studios, it was announced that Netflix would continue to produce The Witcher in August.

This second film was announced shortly before the launch of the series. Production began in February, then production went on smoothly. Filming ended a few weeks before production ceased due to a Pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Redanian’s Secret Service said that filming for the film would eventually continue through the first week of August. Arborfield Studios in the UK announced that it would be open in the coming weeks until security procedures were completed.

The release date of the series is likely to be delayed to speed, as filming is said to be worth four to five months. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich, however, has stated in the past that the 2021 release date was intentionally uncertain to ensure further delays. The series is expected to air in the summer of 2021.

The film was discontinued in mid-March after COVID-19 by actor Kristofer Hivju. The Witcher kit was thoroughly cleaned to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The actor has made a full recovery after separating himself in Norway. Hivju will play the level of Andrzej Sapkoski’s ‘Last Desire’ season 2 as a cursed creature from the novel.

With the inclusion of a handful of cast members earlier this year, we already know everything there is to know about the casting of The Witcher Season 2. Paul Bullion, who plays a new character in Hivju (Game of Thrones from Tormond Giantsbane) and the Peaky Blinders actor, will be quite excited at The Witcher next season as he is a fan of Lambert, Games. He said that we do not want everyone working on the show to be completely safe.

The Witcher, Henry Cavill de Rivia Geralt, Anya Chalotra Yannefer of Vangerberg, Freya Allan as Ciri and Joey Batey as Jaskier. Season 1 is now available on Netflix.
