The first two seasons of Mindhunter show the extraordinary enthusiasm of fans, and fans from all the age brackets applauded the series. What could be the release date of the third season?
Off late things have changed a lot, and the recent set of events has halted some big-wig projects. This series has been halted due to some technical reasons which we have discussed above, but the main reason was David Fincher’s new project, a Netflix film. So this may turn around things and change the fate for Mindhunter as it may lead to the revival of the series.
But these are mere possibilities, and as long as we don’t get an official word from the producers, nothing can be said for sure.
What could be the cast for the third season?
If the renewal happens at all, the cast can’t be predicted as there are members of the cast who are released from their contracts. A possible storyline can include Special Agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff), Special Agent Gregg Smith (Joe Tuttle), Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), FBI Chief Ted Gunn (Michael Cerveris), Bill’s wife Nancy (Stacey Roca). This is the expected cast, but nothing can be ascertained at this point. Its a wait and watch thing now, if the renewal happens, chances are very likely that we will get more additions in the cast for the third season.
